À la recherche d’un nouveau club, Gabriel Obertan serait actuellement en Bulgarie selon Nabil Djellit (La Chaîne L’Équipe, Europe 1, France Football).

L’ancien milieu offensif bordelais (28 ans) pourrait prochainement s’engager en faveur du club du PFK Levski Sofia.
